Michael Kearns is a professor of computer and information science at the University of Pennsylvania, where he holds the National Center Chair, and an Amazon Scholar. He has research interests in machine learning, algorithmic game theory, and algorithmic trading. With Amazon Scholar and Penn colleague Aaron Roth, he is the author of The Ethical Algorithm: The Science of Socially Aware Algorithm Design.
