Fred Wilf has been advising businesses for over 30 years.

As a lawyer, he advised businesses ranging from one-person startups to multinational companies. His primary areas of legal practice are technology and intellectual property, while other matters include business formation, governance, divestments, and mergers and acquisitions.

He has litigated business, technology and intellectual property cases in state and federal courts, as well as before arbitration panels. For more than 20 years, he has served as an arbitrator of business, technology and intellectual property matters for the American Arbitration Association.

He has run small law firms ranging from his own solo practice to ten attorneys. He has been employed by and worked in a large law firm (Saul Ewing) and a global law firm (Morgan Lewis and Bockius). He has also worked as an in-house lawyer for an international chemical company.

Fred has written and spoken extensively on issues at the intersection of law and technology, including as a planner and speaker of continuing legal education seminars, as the editor of a four-volume treatise on computer software law, and as an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School.

He has worked with several charities and nonprofit entities, including Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
