Gabriella Vacca is a global technology executive, board advisor, and former CIO/CTO with more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale transformation across the United States and Europe. She has held executive leadership roles in telecom, media, mobile, and digital businesses, combining Fortune 50 scale with early-stage and venture-backed experience.
Most recently, Gabriella served as Chief Technology Officer of Sky Italia and Managing Director of Enterprise Technology for Sky Europe (Comcast Group), with accountability across a multi-billion-euro technology scope spanning several European markets. In these roles, she led complex transformation programs across cloud migration, AI enablement, cybersecurity, operating model redesign, enterprise modernization, and large-scale cost transformation. Over four years, she helped deliver more than $100 million in validated efficiencies while materially reshaping the technology cost structure.
Earlier in her career, Gabriella contributed to the launch and growth of ESPN Mobile, Gogo In-Flight WiFi, and early GSM operators in both Europe and the United States. Her experience spans both high-growth businesses and complex multinational organizations navigating regulatory, operational, and technology change.
Her expertise includes technology strategy, enterprise transformation, operating models, AI adoption, cybersecurity, governance, cost optimization, and cross-functional leadership. Today, she focuses on board and advisory work supporting organizations navigating scale, modernization, risk, and technology-enabled growth.
