Rich Carroll is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Maximus Partners and a three-time CFO with more than 25 years of corporate finance and executive leadership experience. He has spent his career helping companies scale, transform, and navigate complex transactions across private equity-backed, private, and public companies.
Rich has held senior finance leadership roles across healthcare, technology, software, and professional services, including serving as CFO of ParetoHealth, WGroup, and Quintiq and holding senior finance leadership roles IKON Office Solutions. His experience ranges from high-growth entrepreneurial businesses to a large publicly traded companies.
Throughout his career, Rich has helped lead companies through multiple successful transactions, including the acquisitions of WGroup by Wavestone, Quintiq by Dassault Systèmes, 2X Services by Recognize Partners, and ParetoHealth’s recapitalization with Warburg Pincus.
Rich combines traditional CFO expertise with a broader operating perspective. He has built and transformed finance organizations, developed scalable operating models, led strategic planning and performance management, supported capital and transaction processes, and partnered closely with CEOs and leadership teams on growth strategy and organizational transformation.
Today, through Maximus Partners, Rich advises founder-led and private equity-backed companies on scaling their finance organizations, navigating transformation, and preparing businesses for their next stage of growth or transaction.
