Rob is a growth-focused executive with 20+ years of experience spanning corporate strategy, M&A, venture capital, startups, and operations. He blends strategic, financial, and technical insight with a hands-on approach to driving performance and cost improvements. Rob’s industry expertise spans enterprise software/SaaS, fintech, media, gaming, consumer internet, and broadband/mobile networks, as well as retail and service-oriented businesses.
He has held high-impact strategy and corporate development roles at both large F500 (Disney, Motorola, Dell) and mid-market companies, working closely with executive teams on corporate planning, acquisitions, new business development, and cross-functional initiatives. Rob has led or played a key role in nearly two dozen M&A and investment transactions, particularly with early to mid-stage tech companies, covering the full deal lifecycle from strategy through integration.
Rob also brings deep experience in the startup ecosystem. He was a Jr. Partner at an early-stage VC firm investing in internet, e-commerce, and communications, and served on multiple boards. At OneTwoSee, a media tech startup, he was Chief Business Officer and helped drive its strategic pivot and acquisition by Comcast. More recently, he served as interim COO and finance lead for a $40M private company with 30+ reports. Earlier in his career, Rob worked in technology strategy at AirTouch Communications (now Vodafone) and in the telecom consulting practice at Booz Allen.
He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers and Columbia University, respectively, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
