Ted is CIO and VP of Technology for UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare Supplement business, a $12B division serving over 4.5M members. Over the past several years, he has been leading a digital business transformation, establishing best in class data capabilities, successfully transitioning from mainframe to modern cloud-based systems, modernizing policy administration and consumer web applications, and transitioning to Agile processes and culture. Ted has served in a wide variety of leadership roles at both mid-size and Fortune 200 corporations throughout his 35-year career. This breadth of experience enables him to appreciate the many functional perspectives across a business. At UnitedHealthcare, he facilitated the executive strategy development and execution process, leading the delivery of hundreds of business and technology projects. He managed new product development, launching innovative new products for Teleflex Marine. He developed expertise in a wide range of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operational capabilities through progressive leadership roles up to full business P&L responsibility at Texas Instruments.
