Mergers & Acquisitions – How to Best Position Your Company for Success

Brian M. McNeill, Chairman, President & CEO of TouchPoint, Inc.

 Brian will be speaking on what Advisors and Directors should be doing to best position their company to be an attractive candidate for a merger or acquisition.

 Brian McNeill is Chairman, President & CEO of TouchPoint, Inc. Touchpoint is a privately held, diversified global growth company based in Concordville, PA. TouchPoint focuses on acquiring and building niche, high growth manufacturing and engineering businesses where technology and human touch points make a tangible difference to the end user. TouchPoint companies have over 4,300 associates who deliver value-added products and services to eighty thousand customers in over 100 countries.

Prior to joining TouchPoint, Brian was an Officer of two Fortune 500 companies, Ingersoll-Rand and Danaher. Over the last 30 years, Brian has been directly involved in acquiring over 40 businesses throughout the world.

Mr. McNeill has been active in Corporate Governance over the last 25 years. In addition to TouchPoint, he has served on the following Boards:

  • The Berwind Group, a diversified Private Investment Management Company, where he has served as a Board Co-Chair and Chair of the Compensation and Finance Committees.
  • Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia as a Class C Director and Chairman of the Board. He continues to serve in an advisory role to the Federal Reserve Bank System.
  • Templeton World Charity Foundation as a Trustee serving on the Executive, Finance and Audit Committees.
  • Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI) as Board Trustee.

Brian has also been actively involved in the local community and in the support and governance of local not-for-profits, including the Academy of Notre Dame, where he chaired the effort to build a new state of the art STEM Center; the Philadelphia Cristo Rey High School; the Corporate Council at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Catholic Leadership Institute. Brian also serves on the Board of Governors of the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA.

Brian received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University.
